WiiWare Launches In Europe
Nintendo’s Wii Ware service has today, as promised launched across Europe and Australia, with Europe receiving all eight games, and Australia only getting six (titles after the jump).
The full list of games is as follows:
- Dr. Mario & Germ Buster – 1000 Wii Points
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Square Enix) – 1500 Wii Points
- LostWinds (Frontier) – 1000 Wii Points
- Pirates: The Key of Dreams
- Pop (Nnooo) – 700 Wii Points
- Star Soldier R (Hudson) – 800 Wii Points
- Toki Tori (Two Tribes)
- TV Show King (Gameloft) – 1000 Wii Points
The two titles missing from the Aussie release are “Pop” and “Pirates: The key of dreams”, but the launch did include something unexpected - a demo for Dr Mario (don’t get too excited yet), which unfortunately owing to Nintendo’s on-line wisdom you can only play if you have the friend code of someone who has already bought the game at full price, rendering it pretty damn useless, I know that the Wii was never intended to compete with Sony and Microsoft in the on-line gaming stakes, but really, whats the point of a demo that you cant play?? get it sorted Ninty.
