PGR4 Project Gotham Racing First Look

I’m sure that if your a racing game fan, you will have played one of the Project Gotham Racing games either on the current 360, its older brother, or maybe you might remember a game called “Metropolis Street Racer” which came out on the Sega Dreamcast. All of the PGR series have been brilliant, except maybe the 360 version (PGR3) which was an official launch title for Microsoft’s monster, and as such was “rushed” out leaving quite a lot of the things the developer “Bizarre Creations” wanted to put into the game… luckily for us PGR4 is going to contain all those things, plus many suggestions submitted by fans of the series on the bizarre creations website, such as wider corners, a return of the Mini and more courses.

The main change that we’re looking forward to is the cars themselves, in PGR3 you were given access to Ferrari’s etc straight away which made it hard to motivate yourself to get them all, were promised however that in the new version you will be back to buying an old banger and racing it beyond its capabilities to earn that all important Kudos and advance in the ranks.

They have also hinted at a series of tracks in Shanghai, and if you look at the picture above you will notice that the rain is back !!!!!!!

This should be brilliant.
