The Happening

M Night Shyamalan is back with his latest offering “The Happening”, and its recent classification as R rated (or 18 in the UK) means it will be his most dark and violent film to date.

Mark Wahlberg (The Departed) and Zooey Deschanel (Bridge to Terabithia) star as parents trying to outrun an unknown ecological disaster, which is linked to the real life extinction of bees across America. The trailer we saw recently looks amazing and marks Shyamalan’s return to form after the recent box office disappointment of “lady In The Water”. The Happening releases worldwide on Friday 13th June (no coincidence). I am really looking forward to this one, more details as and when we get them.
