The Flying Alarm Clock

flying-alarm.gif
If you love boys toys or you have a teenager who cannot get out of bed in the mornings, then this little gadget is just for you.

Imagine, your alarm goes at seven thirty in the morning and off she goes, hovering across the bedroom making an annoying noise like a Mosquito on heat. ‘Yes, so’ I hear you say, well here is the catch, in order for you to turn off the alarm you have to get out of bed and retrieve the propeller and attach it back onto the base unit. Annoying but fun don’t you think?

Now how your pets will react to it I don’t know, but if it flies out of your open window, just make sure your dog is not in pursuit of it at the time.

The Flying Alarm Clock won third prize at the 2005 Taiwan International Design Competition, and is stocked by most online gadget retailers. It ranges in price from £14.99 to £19.99. But don’t forget to buy 4 AAA batteries as I don’t think they are supplied.
