Super Mario Chess

Yes you did read the headline right, the super cute characters from the Super Mario series are making their way to a chess board near you.

Apparently this is the first time that Nintendo has ever authorised a chess game using their beloved mascot, and unfortunately it will only be on sale in the US and will not be made available for export ( BOO!! ).

The site that is selling them sounds quite happy with the arrangement though:
