Scream 4?
The company behind the Scream movies (Weinstein co) recently announced that they were planning on bringing the franchise back up to date with a new movie.
Rumours are flying around that Wes Craven (who directed the first 3 movies) has had early talks about returning to the fold.
“There has been talk between Bob Weinstein and me about doing another Scream,” he said, he also pointed out that they were trying to get Kevin Williamson back on board as the writer for the fourth movie, as he wrote the first two movies (and not the flop third one).
All the information sounds positive, but Craven has said he will only return as director if it is under his terms, since Weinstein interfered too much with the filming of their last collaboration (Cursed) making the movie awful, through various changes, re cuts and reshoots.
If Weinstein and Wes Craven can draw something up on paper, and get Williamson back, Scream 4 might be able to get the franchise back on track.

I have seen the scream four trailer as you might have and, yes, the rumors are true. now, this film will require some of the original cast, that of Roger Jackson, the same voice of a different killer.
