Review: Paradoxion PC

Paradoxion is a very enjoyable logic puzzle game for PC owners. If you like to have your mind stretched whilst playing your games Paradoxion is probably the game for you.

The game starts with a healthy set of tutorial style levels which literally hold your hand through the first few levels explaining the point behind the game, and how placing the coloured orbs allow you to clear the various game boards by blasting other orbs into position progressing you to the next level, some of the early levels can really have you scratching your head but are nothing when compared to the later ones which are very challenging and can take some considerable time to complete, even for the best of players. Every ten to fifteen levels adds yet another element to the game which must be used to clear the game board, which of course increases the difficulty.

The game features a handy help feature which enables you to put your cursor over an item to see how it interacts with the other orbs, but to be honest the best way to progress is to have a look at the board, see if you can figure out what needs to be placed where and have a go, failures can be restarted and failed moves can be undone, ensuring you never get stuck on one level for too long.

With 90 levels of fiendish puzzle play, and a full level editor allowing you to create and share your best designs with other users via the designers website, Paradoxion will keep you busy for ages.

Pardoxion is an enjoyable and addictive puzzler, which brings some new ideas to the genre, and is well worth a look if your in the market for a new logic game.
