Resident Evil 5 (Biohazard 5) – Trailer & Analysis

The first thing that struck me was the speed of the mob in the video, very much akin to the movies 28 days/weeks later, they move at frightening speed to try and dispatch Chris, and boy are they angry launching machetes’s, scythe’s and other paraphernalia at him.

Like in Resi 4, the baddies will not stay outside a closed room, kicking down doors and smashing through walls and windows, you will also notice from the film that one of the men smash down a staircase and balcony with a huge hammer, and in another scene the mob use grappling hooks to remove a scaffolding stand that Chris is stood on, so you truly wont be safe anywhere from the looks of it.

Who the hell is the man with the megaphone? in the footage you see a man been changed, and his eyes starting to bleed out, but the other two men run off and don’t attack Chris, so how can the man with the megaphone command the mob? are they not infected with the zombie virus, or is it something entirely new.

To sum up, from the footage we can get a lot of information, but we still don’t know much, as the song says, they’re are more questions than answers, but one things for sure, Resident Evil 5 looks amazing, and I for one cant wait to try it out.
