Quit Smoking With Your DS

Quitting smoking doesn’t have to be this hard, all you need is your Nintendo DS and a copy of Allen Carr’s Easyway to stop smoking game!, sound strange? read on.

Allen Carr is a well known stop smoking guru, who is unfortunately no longer with us, but he has helped millions of people around the world with his “Easyway to stop” methods, books, clinics and DVD’s. Now Ubisoft is bringing the great mans work to Nintendo DS consoles, making quiting smoking easy and fun (or so they claim):

“Ubisoft’s creative team has worked hard to deliver a game that successfully communicates Allen Carr’s Easyway method via play,” said Christian Salomon, vice president of worldwide licensing at Ubisoft. “The player experiences a truly interactive engagement with the game through which he or she learns that it can actually be enjoyable to quit smoking.”

Personally I dont smoke, but when my friends have tried, its no fun, believe me!, still more proof that Nintendo see the DS as more as an educational tool than a games console for kids.
