PSP Go! Leaked
Sony’s replacement for the PlayStation Portable must be one of the worst kept secrets in history, but official details may have been leaked a little earlier than the company had hoped as news of the PSP Go! have started circulating.
Rumours suggest that the device will feature flip out/slide out controls a larger screen, and a complete removal of the UMD drive, making the device digital download only with the device shipping in 16 and 32gb flavours come the holiday season. Details are sketchy on how exactly you will download the games and store them, but some suggestions have been made of in store kiosks that will allow you to transfer your previously purchased games to your new PSP Go!
The new, UMD-less hardware will ship this Fall in Japan and North America, with Sony bringing 100 PSP titles to the PlayStation Store, one of which is supposed to be the much awaited Gran Turismo 4 mobile, let’s hope Sony doesn’t drop the ball with this console.
