Sugar We’re Goin’ Down was one of the big anthems of the summer, although you maybe didn’t realise it was Fall Out Boy you were listening to on the radio. The Chicago unit have churned out a very high quality album with “From Under The Cork Tree” with more than a fleeting remark about some of their favourite films (Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner - Dirty Dancing, Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying - The Shawshank Redemption).

The album opens with the cheekily titled “Our lawyer made us change the name of this song so we wouldn’t get sued” and really sets the tone of quality, imaginative lyrics and catchy riffs that fill out this fantastic album, of note on this album are: The opening track as mentioned, “I’ve Got A Dark Alley”….., “7 Minutes In Heaven”, and the amazing “Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying” which closes with some very strong poetry.

A Truly amazing album, it just begs the question why aren’t they much more well known?? maybe ‘07 will be Fall Out Boys year…buy this excellent album now, you wont be disappointed.
