Ifans Launches Band
Talented Welsh actor Rhys Ifans star of Notting Hill and Little Nicky, is returning to his musical roots. Back in the late 80’s / early 90’s Ifans was a member of the “Super Furry Animals”, but left the group before they rose to fame to invest more time in his acting career.
Now Rhys is teaming up with Dafydd Ieuan one of his former Super Furry Animals band mates, and a new group of musicians (Dic Ben, Kris Jenkins and Nick Hilton) to create a new band named “The Peth”.
The band are hoping to release they’re debut album entitled “The Golden Mile” in September 2008.
