Heart Stopper Review
Heartstopper is the chilling new horror film from Momentum Pictures starring the master of horror himself Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm street, 2001 Maniacs) and features some fantastic special effects by Bob Keen (Hellraiser, Alien).
The story revolves around two hospitalized young people who find themselves stranded in the dilapidated institution when a severe storm hits. Things soon go from bad to worse when they find out that a maniac is prowling the corridors searching for victims, killing them by punching through the rib cage and removing their still beating hearts.
Determined to survive against all odds, the couple must make their way around the abandoned hospital and try to find
some means of escape. With the killer tracking their every move, and waiting for them to make one tiny mistake Heartstopper without doubt demonstrates that each beat, may be your last.

This film was far better than I had expected. The special effects were genuinely gruesome and realistic and the storyline was tense and dramatic enough to keep you poised on the edge of your seat. I would have liked to have seen Robert Englund’s character remain in the film for longer than he did, but it was still great to see a short cameo from the great man himself.
All in all Heartstopper is well worth a watch, great for all horror movie addicts!
