GTA IV Pirated Already

At approx 11:50am GMT Wednesday 23rd of April the Pal 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV was ripped and made available on torrent sites for download, and less that a day later the NTSC version was similarly leaked to various sites around the world

Leechers for the files run into the tens of thousands, and various videos showing the gameplay have started to appear on youtube (however many have since been removed). The filesize’s for both versions vary with the pal version weighing in at 6.32gb and the NTSC version running at 7.9gb. Release group Icon who released the Pal version first, warn users not to play whilst connected to live to avoid being caught out by Rockstar and Microsoft, but the strangest thing in their nfo file is this:

and guys, seriously, go and buy this one! R* deserves it…

if they were that bothered about the maker of the game surely they shouldn’t have ripped it and put it on torrent sites!!
