Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Car Damage
Damage – this is one of the only things that is lacking from the excellent Polyphony Digital racing series Gran Turismo, The games creators have blamed many things including liscensing rights from car manufacturers who allegidly dont like their motors getting banged up, but in recent years games like Forza motorsports have dispelled this with their own damage to real cars currently in production.
The developers promised that it was going to be a feature of the newly released GT5 Prologue, but as you may well now be aware it wasn’t, well apparently all that is set to change with a software update which will add deformable car models to the game series for the first time, the update is set to appear in the autumn (fall) but to be honest they have promised this in the past and not done it, I won’t be holding my breath.
