Ghostbusters Gets Picked Up By Atari

Activision and Blizzard finally merged this year, and as you would expect with a merger of this size many staff and gaming projects were thrown aside, one of which (to the surprise of many) was the upcoming and eagerly awaited Ghostbusters game.

The game was demoed at a few events this year and was shaping up quite nicely until it was abandoned, luckily for GB fans though Atari has acquired the title and is currently in the process of putting the finishing touches to the game, the only bad news is that it is still a year away, which is bad news for fans as the original version was said to arrive before xmas this year!

The strangest thing about this story is the fact that the news didn’t come from a typical gaming site, but from Dan Aykroyd himself whilst being interviewed on US radio….keep up the good work Dan.
