Free Top Gun Track For Guitar Hero III

It’s Fourth of July time soon in the States, and to celebrate Activision are giving away the theme tune to Top Gun for its Guitar Hero III game on 360 and PS3.

The instrumental, guitar-heavy theme was immortalized in the hit film that inspired a generation of young men to awkwardly serenade women at bars, perform perfectly-timed “flipside” high fives and threaten to “buzz the tower.” The song will be available as a free download to Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock mavericks and their wingmen everywhere.

It is not yet known if this download will be available everywhere, but if you have an American account hopefully you will be able to get around this to be able to play some 80′s cheese at its best.
