Late last year a little known game called “Halo 3″ came out, and its arrival was blamed for the very poor turnout at cinemas around the globe that month, and it was feared that Iron Man would suffer a similar, if not worse fate due to the release of another game - “Grand Theft Auto”.
Well the launch of GTA came and went, and whilst the game is smashing all records known to man, Iron Man has been doing a fair bit of money in its opening weekend taking a whopping $104m USD. This is a fantastic opening weekend result and shows what a brilliant film Iron Man is, not to mention how full of crap it, the analysts were last year - proving that the rubbish movie performance was down to one thing - rubbish movies!.
