Fallout 3: No PS3 Trophies

Arguably the biggest release of the holiday season, Fallout 3 is looking amazing, and recent game play footage we saw makes us very eager to get our grubby little mitts on it, but if you’re into your achievements (360) and trophies (PS3) you might want to pick up the 360 version.

Bethesda has previously stated that they prefer making games on the 360 to the PS3, and find it easier. In a recent interview Pete Hines (Head of marketing) stated that PS3 trophies would not be included in the game (from launch)

“Not at launch…It remains to be seen what we do down the road. It wasn’t something we were able to incorporate into the game for launch.“

Hopefully PS3 owners will be able to get in on the action in a few months when the developer has time to incorporate them into the game, in a patch similar to that of Drakes Fortune, unfortunately the patch usually means that you have to delete your game save and start fresh, which is something that would definitely put me off, but hey I will be buying it for the 360 anyway!
