Capcom Makes Decisions Based On Ebay
As crazy as the title sounds, Capcom actually bases its gaming decisions on popular auction website Ebay.
John Diamonon, an associate product manager at Capcom has said that the gaming giant check out Ebay on a regular basis to see which of its classic titles deserve an update.
“To choose titles to revive, we see if we can give old franchises the modern touch, and we evaluate the fanbase and see if there’s a market for it, sometimes we see games on eBay, and that’s how you see what games people are willing to spend $80 on.” Said Diamonon.
Diamonon was quick to point out that they dont make the main descision based on Ebay sales, they just use the information as a guide.
