Bioshock 2: First Look

Bioshock is one of the most impressive games of the last few years, with its iconic graphics and horrific inhabitants, and luckily for us, Rapture is coming back.
Bioshock 2 is set ten years in the future, and unlike the first adventure your character is actually a Big Daddy, who has escaped the clutches of Dr Tenenbaum. A mysterious metal monster with a large red eye is abducting little girls with large eyes and black hair from all around the world and it’s your job to stop this “Big Sister” (rumours suggest that the Big Sister is one of the original Little Sister’s you saved at the end of the first game).

One of the major new areas that will be available to players in the second game will be the ocean floor outside Rapture, and the true cost of Adam mutating the sea life and the surrounding areas will be even more evident. In the new game you can still harvest Adam from the Little Sister’s but instead of saving them you can choose to adopt them, and have them point out alternate sources of Adam but it comes at a cost, as you have to protect her from the increasingly deformed and manic splicers as well as the main threat in the game the Big Sister, who has a needle arm and a cage on her back to capture the Little Sisters.
