Free Bingo Online

November 12, 2008

How free online bingo works

When it comes to getting something for nothing one of the best ways is to play a game or three of no cost bingo. Many bingo sites now offer free bingo games to their players where no financial contribution is required to join in with the bingo fun. Here we will take a look at how free online bingo works and how to get the most out of the free bingo games available around the world of internet bingo.

Whether you choose to play free bingo or pay to play bingo you will always need to register an account with your site of choice. The reason for this is that you want to ensure that any money that is won when playing at the site in question goes into your bingo account. Dependant on the site that you choose to play at, you may be required to enter your financial details, this is simply a security measure and no money will EVER be removed from your account unless you choose to visit the sites cashier.

Some sites that offer free bingo do so as part of a promotion whilst others, more recently launched, have a free bingo offering for their players 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These are the best forms of free bingo sites; a player can login any time of day or night and play as many games of bingo as they wish without having to spend a single penny to enjoy the games.

Another great feature of the free bingo offerings available online is that it’s also ‘Fair For All’ bingo; on the whole, a site that boasts free bingo will have a limit on the amount of bingo tickets that each player can have for each no cost bingo game, unlike pay to play bingo where players can buy as many tickets as they can afford. This means that every single player in a free bingo game has the same chance of winning the cash prize on offer.

Free bingo also opens many virtual doors for players who previously may not have stepped through to try the game of online bingo and with real cash prizes, impressive jackpots and an equal chance of winning no matter how many players are in a game, it is a great chance to get in on the online bingo craze sweeping the country.

Russell Brand’s Ponderland Competition

November 3, 2008

DVD Released by Universal Pictures (UK) Ltd on Monday 10th November 2008

Random subjects plucked from the depths of Russell Brand’s brain are colourfully deliberated and dissected in PONDERLAND, a BAFTA nominated series first shown on Channel 4 and now released on DVD this autumn.

Extras include nearly an hour of unseen live stand up recorded at pre-Ponderland warm up gigs and nightly before taping the show.

Ponderland’s premise is simple: Russell tackles random topics in each episode delivering his highly original spin on many subjects including nostalgia, childhood, science, sport, love and holidays.

His high-octane musings are interspersed with clips from archived TV shows – both weird and wonderful – to illustrate his point. Other highlights include clips of his cameo role in The Bill and when he got arrested for standing naked on top of a police van.

With an emphasis on stand-up and video footage of Brand during his youth, there’s a personal feel to PONDERLAND making it a must-have for Russell’s legion of fans.

Multi talented, Russell Brand excels at many art forms: comedy, journalism (his Saturday Guardian football column is mandatory weekend reading) radio (he is one of Radio 2’s key presenters), TV and film. In 2007, Russell’s autobiography ‘My Booky Wook’ topped the best-seller list and went on to win a prestigious ‘Nibby’ at the British Book Awards.

More recently, his film career has taken off with star turns in ‘St Trinian’s’ and ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’. Later this year, he stars in ‘Bedtime Stories’ alongside Adam Sandler. Next year he films ‘The Tempest’ with acclaimed director Julie Taymor. Russell also recently hosted the VMA Awards live from Los Angeles. He will soon record a one hour Comedy Central special which will air in 2009.

Later this month the second series of Ponderland starts on C4 while an anthology of his Guardian columns, ‘Articles of Faith’, is published.

‘The most exciting comedian of his generation’ – Time Out
